A few of my favorite travel blogs, like this one and this one, have weekly photo features, and I’ve discovered that I really enjoy these quite a bit. A good travel photo, with even just a short caption, can often tell a story better than words can.
So I’ve decided to introduce “Photo Friday” on Northwest Cheapsleeps.
Here is the first photo.
The Discovery Islands in British Columbia are a pretty wonderful place. Especially in the summer, and especially in a kayak. Relaxing on a dock after a long day in that kayak is nice, too. And if you can get your hands on some British Columbia microbrew, well then all the better.

You’re right, a good vacation photo captures the moments that you really remember from your trip. You got the relaxation vibe down in this one.
I’ve always been a fan of Canadian brew…and it’s even better when I can travel to Canada and sample some of the local brews. It’s been a while…
