With 175-forested islands surrounded by crystal-green waters and snow-capped mountains, the San Juan Islands are an idyllic sea-kayaking destination. Most of our tours are conducted off the west side of San Juan Island – the prime area for viewing over 85 Orca whales and other wildlife including bald eagles, dall porpoise and harbor seals!
We offer half and full day outings as well as 2, 3 and 4 day camping tours. New for 2012, we are offering a two day “Whale Camp,” as well as beer tasting and wine tasting tours. Beginners welcome!
Our naturalist/guides utilize the gentle art of Dutch oven cookery to make mouth-watering dishes such as smoked salmon pesto fettuccine and apple-cinnamon cobblers. Factor in good company and great views from our waterfront campsite and you’ve got the makings of a superb vacation.
