Description: There are many reasons to choose The Blue Goose Inn for your Island getaway! As Innkeepers who love to travel ourselves, we know what makes a lodging more than just a bed for the night. We pride ourselves in making sure that your stay with us is a memorable one. Well thought out amenities and nicely decorated rooms without extra clutter are created with your comfort in mind. We enjoy meeting and getting to know you, but we also know when it’s time to let you relax by yourselves.

Our location is perfect; we’re close to all the shops and restaurants in Coupeville, and centrally located on Whidbey for all your island adventures. It’s a quick five minute drive to our favorite beach and bluff hike at Ebey’s Landing, or to the Keystone Ferry terminal for a day trip to Port Townsend. Anacortes, Deception Pass, La Conner, Langley; all are just a short scenic drive away.

And don’t forget…breakfast!! Comfort at our house includes a scrumptious full breakfast served each morning on our cheerful sun porch. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits, home baked muffins or scones, juice, coffee or tea, as well as a hot breakfast entree made each day from our collection of tasty recipes. See you soon!

Amenities: The Blue Goose Inn is comprised of two lovingly restored historic Victorian homes set on a large corner in the middle of Coupeville. With gorgeous views of Mt. Baker and Penn Cove from most rooms, and from our large garden area, it’s the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate.

We offer spacious, well appointed rooms, all with private baths and many amenities. Free WIFI, cable TV, coffee-makers, filtered water, hair dryers, and many more comfortable extras await you. We also have outdoor areas with tables set up for your afternoon wine selections from some of our local wineries. Then you can walk to any of Coupeville’s awesome restaurants.

We accept children over 14 years of age. No pets please, and no smoking. Please call with any questions!

Attractions: Whidbey Island is known for it’s incredible scenery, outdoor adventures, artistic delights, and culinary feasts. We have seven large state parks, with excellent hiking and biking trails. There are beaches that stretch uninterrupted for miles, with incredible views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains. Boating, kayaking, fishing, whale-watching, all are withing minutes of Coupeville.

Coupeville provides a welcome respite from fast food and chain restaurants. Its restaurants, cafes, delis, and coffee houses offer a range of personalities … distinct characters you’ll savor and remember. We also love to share our favorite local delicacy, Penn Cove mussels. The cove is the perfect environment for the Penn Cove Mussel Farm, and our eateries know just how to prepare these bountiful bivalves delivered within hours of being plucked from the cove’s waters.

If festivals and fairs are your thing, we have lots to choose from! Check our events listings on facebook, or give us a call. From the Penn Cove Mussel Fest to the Coupeville Arts and Crafts Festival, there is something for everyone!
