The kick-off event of Washington Cider Week is Seattle’s Cider Summit NW at South Lake Union Discovery Center Park, Saturday September 8th 2012, with tastings of craft ciders from around the world.
The rest of the week celebrates cider around the state with more than 85+ different events, from tap takeovers at neighborhood pubs to elegant prix fixe menus with cider pairings. You’ll find cider-based specialty cocktails, cheese plates designed with cider in mind, cider tasting events, and even a special cider gelato.
