GO NOW: Don’t miss the peak bloom at tulip festivals around the Pacific Northwest. The largest is the Skagit Tulip Festival, which runs April 1-30, 2015. Monitor the blooms by taking a peak at the #skagittulipfestival in Instagram.
SAVE TIME: Did you know you can now reserve a spot on the ferry to the San Juan Islands this summer? Washington State Ferries launched the reservation system in January, and it will help take the hassle out of your summer island trip.

HIT THE ROAD: Many mountain roads are opening early this spring, just in time for a spring break road trip! Here are recent openings as of April 3: At Mt. Rainier, Chinook Pass and Cayuse Pass are already open. The North Cascades Highway is open.
