Description: The Bingen School complex is a historic schoolhouse built in 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC), designed by noted NW architect Donald J Stewart. Located in Bingen Washington directly across the Columbia from Hood River Oregon, it is centered in The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It has operated as an Inn and Hostel since renovation in 1988, hosting an wide array of clientele.

Amenities: Our Goal since opening the Inn & Hostel in 1988 has been to provide fun, comfortable, affordable accommodations in a relaxed atmosphere for outdoor-oriented travelers from around the world. Six private rooms each have 2 queen sized beds, creaky hardwood floors, a chalkboard for kids of all ages, and plenty of to add more bunks to accommodate small groups up to 8. Also three hostel rooms.
